Thanks for stopping by our shop and blog!

People always wonder how businesses get started, so here's a little about the "E" of EPCCreations...

Being a maker is one of the hardest, exhausting, most rewarding jobs ever. On average, I work 62 hours a week on my shop, with 4 other selling platforms. But I'm so happy to do what I love and still have time for my family every day. Modest fashion has always been a passion of mine. When I was 6 or 7 I wanted to be a modest fashion designer, I worked all summer for my grandma to save up enough money for a dress form to start making clothes on. A few years later I got side tracked, started a career as a professional photographer and have been up until this year, but have always dabbled in creating my own unique makes and now I use my skills in photography for product photos. Two years ago I started making skirt extenders, I never knew how popular they'd be, over 1,000 extenders later I'm still going strong. This year, I'm venturing into making skirts and soon custom dresses. I guess you never outgrow your first passion, somehow mine came back around to what I'm starting to do full-time. I'm always thinking of new items and sometimes it can be stressful to constantly challenge my way of thinking. Being a seamstress isn't as glamorous as most people think. Most times it involves having a seam ripper within arms reach at all times.

Cheers to every boss mom working hard for your family every day, you don't go unnoticed! One day we'll be making millions at home while others are still laboring the nine-to-fives.
